Making the eyes

Once we had the head ready for the character, the next issue to tackle was the eyes!

The initial idea was to make replacement eyes, as the head was made from cork, we thought that pushing them in would be a good idea. We tried different types of pins with flat heads, but they did not look as great as we expected them to. Also, the constant pushing and pulling of the eyes during animation would be a difficult thing to do as it would probably move the head drastically making the animation process harder.

We also wanted to create eyebrows for the puppet so as to help with the expressions.
